Chris Campbell
As President of Greg Norman Golf Course Design, Chris Campbell serves as Greg Norman’s closest strategic partner and the executive leader of the firm’s global design business. He works directly alongside Greg to shape the vision, guide client relationships, and steward the execution of nearly every GNGCD project worldwide. From business development and contract strategy to on-site design integration, Chris ensures that Greg’s philosophy and creative direction are delivered with precision, consistency, and excellence across the firm’s international portfolio.
With more than 30 years at GNGCD, Chris brings unmatched continuity and institutional knowledge to the organization. His career began in golf course maintenance before advancing into golf course design and construction under the mentorship of Pete Dye. Since partnering with Greg on his first solo U.S. design at TPC Sugarloaf, Chris has played a central role in the design, development, and delivery of the firm’s global body of work, helping shape GNGCD into one of the most recognized names in golf course architecture.

Eric Pfeifer
As Director of Design & Operations, Eric Pfeifer oversees GNGCD’s full-service management of the golf course design and development process. Based in Vietnam, he represents the firm across APAC and EMEA and plays a key role in global business development.
Since joining GNGCD in 2019, Eric has led contract delivery, design and construction documentation, and on-site execution, serving as a central liaison between owners, consultants, contractors, and government agencies. Fluent in Vietnamese, he brings a deep understanding of culture and local context to every project.
Eric has overseen multiple international developments throughout Asia and beyond, supporting the firm’s continued global expansion.

Rogelio Abarca
As Senior Design Associate, Rogelio Abarca leads GNGCD projects throughout North and South America, managing developments from initial concept through final delivery. He directs all phases of planning and design for new courses and renovations, working closely with clients and construction teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and design integrity.
Originally from Acapulco, Mexico, Rogelio began his career in architecture while working on golf course maintenance crews, gaining hands-on operational insight that informs his design approach today. He later served as Project Manager for the Jack Nicklaus–designed Bahia Course at Punta Mita and completed his professional training with the European Institute of Golf Architects.
Since joining GNGCD in 2013, Rogelio has led several of the firm’s most prominent projects across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
